This exclusive First Light design captures the magical promise of the moments just before dawn in the Pacific Northwest, framed by our century-old pine trees with flecks of the day’s awakening colors. Pine trees—Evergreens-- are a beautiful symbol of resilience and wisdom in any language, and the ever-green and blue turquoise is a universal color of hope.
The Inca cross, or Chakana, represents all depths of consciousness; the past, present and future, and the bridge between life and the spiritual universe. In architecture, it is often depictured with half above ground, and the other half only created by a shadow when the sun shines on it.
Each piece of jewelry is one-of-a-kind, with small batches of similar styles crafted by hand using local clay. Our pottery studio is located on a century-old farmstead in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, where it is always Christmas morning.
