Inca-Inspired Cross Earrings, Poppy Pink
The Inca cross, or Chakana, represents all depths of consciousness; the past, present and future, and the bridge between life and the spiritual universe. In architecture, it is often depictured with half above ground, and the other half only created by a shadow when the sun shines on it.
These stunning poppy pink earrings attempt to capture that magic with an ombre design, showing lighter colors on top and darker colors on bottom to complete the shape. It also represents the range of emotions we have all felt in 2020, and our hope for the future. But your colleagues will probably only notice how striking they are.
Earrings are about the size of a quarter and a dime laid out flat.
Each piece of jewelry is one-of-a-kind, with small batches of similar styles crafted by hand using local clay. Our pottery studio is located on a century-old farmstead in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, where it is always Christmas morning.
